Question?

Are we supposed to enjoy our lives by living them, stopping once in a while to enjoy the sights, going slow so we don't miss things? Or are we supposed to fill them up with so much stuff that we have no time for anything. I have heard the we do what we have to now so we can do what we want to later. Does later ever come if we are so preoccupied with doing what we think we have to? I don't think it does. I know there are some things that need to be done, but isn't it better if we are able to enjoy our life while we are doing them? I mean, we only live this life once so why not enjoy every moment in its short time. To me, life is too short to get caught up in working until we die. I want to enjoy my life with my family because that is the most important thing. When I die, I want to be remembered as a great dad/grandpa/husband/friend and not somebody who was working so hard to provide a great life that he never actually lived his life. Just some thoughts I had lately.

  1. Good thoughts. I love that we are taught that "men are that they might have joy". That doesn't mean they work now, have joy later, it's always having joy. It's our nature to have joy and find joy everyday. great thoughts!
